These slides are soft yet sturdy and very comfortable. They have a wide base which makes them safer for walking over different surfaces. It can take getting used to walking in them, though. They are versatile and can be used for shower shoes, slippers, or sandals. I have even seen them worn with socks. They are easy to clean. I’m not sure if they would cause sweating in really hot environments, I have not worn them in that setting. Overall, a good purchase.
